On the 6th day of Summer University the Bureau resumed from where it stayed yesterday. The PWG Co-Chairs list was finalised and the Bureau, after evaluating the candidate’s answers in the interview that was held yesterday, assigned new Co-Chairs in the Working Groups. Congratulations to the new Co-Chairs! We wish them a constructive and successful year!
Furthermore, the Vice-Chairmen received their portfolios for the current working year. The sectors were re-distributed in order for the new bureau to be more effective and to avoid mistakes that may have occurred in the past. Programming is always important; upon that principle the new bureau prepared the field of action for the new working year. Actions for the registration of the new constitution that was approved by the Council were taken by the Bureau in order to get the approval at the Belgium Court. A short meeting with DEMYC delegation took place, in which possibilities for future co-operation were explored by the two organizations.
In the afternoon, the traditional EDS beach volleyball and football tournaments were held being as always one of the highlights of the Summer University. The competition was fierce. However, at the end of the day, win or lose, the participants kept only the good memories and the fun they had.
EDS Summer University 2010 closed in the usual way. ODM Slovakia organised an amazing farewell party were all of the participants relaxed in the baths of Žilina. Barbeque and music were the closing remarks of this amazing event that took place in Slovakia.
